IV Bag Filling Machine

Our semi- to fully automatic filling and closing machines for flexible bags sets new standards in the pharmaceutical market. The machines allow for all bag types (EVA, PVC, PP) with fill volumes ranging from 50 mL to 5 L or more.

  • Flexible aseptic processing of various types and sizes of bags and closures
  • Precise filling by mass flow system with CIP/SIP, rotary piston, or peristaltic pump
  • Automatically cuts pre-sealed tubes for filling
  • The fully integrated clamp and close systems eliminate the risk of product contamination
  • Variable closing options by stopper insertion or thermal/ultrasonic/radio frequency (RF) sealing
  • Up to 100% IPC verification
  • Laminar Air Flow (LAF), RABS, and isolator compatible
  • Designed in accordance with GAMP5, FDA Approval, UL/CE standards, CRF 21 Part 11
  • IV bag filling machines are custom manufactured with FDA approved materials

Surface Decontamination
The surface of the outer bag is decontaminated by pulsed ultraviolet light before being opened into the contained environment.
Fill & Close
Flexible bags are precisely filled by servo-controlled filling needles and closed to eliminate product contamination.
Inspection
Bags are funneled into an inspection station and rotated several times against a light/dark background. An operator conducts a visual inspection, with magnification, of bag contents and bag/port integrity.
