Bausch Advanced Technologies recently opened its doors to a group of interns from companies across Connecticut through the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT). The visit gave students and emerging professionals a firsthand look at advanced manufacturing in Connecticut.

Opening the Door to Advanced Manufacturing
For many students, understanding what a career in modern manufacturing actually looks like can be difficult without seeing the technology, people, and processes behind it.
During their visit, the interns stepped onto the Bausch manufacturing floor to experience how engineering, automation, precision manufacturing, and problem-solving come together to build equipment for the pharmaceutical industry.
Our team had the opportunity to share not only the technology behind the machines, but also the wide range of careers that make advanced manufacturing possible.
