Intoducing New Generation of Bag Making Machines Type 202

A-Pack Technologies SA introduces a new generation of Type 202 machines, dedicated to the manufacturing of high quality single or multi chamber IV Bags with tubes or port (boat ports or round ports).

The new layout features an in-line film infeed as well as improved machine access for quick and easy size changeovers, cleaning and/or maintenance interventions. The tubes are unwound perpendicular to the machine, cut by heated blades and then pre-heated to ensure a perfect sealing of tube and film. Servo motor technology allows for intermittent, synchronized tube and film transport systems, ensuring an accurate positioning of the tube into the double wound film.

After the periphery of the IV-bags as well as the tubes have been sealed at the main sealing station, the tubes are sealed a second time to ensure a perfect shut. The machine allows also peelable sealing of bags. The bag printing is done by hot foil or thermal transfer for variable prints. The finished bags are discharged onto a conveyor belt or into a downstream machine.

The design meets GMP, FDA and CE standards and is exclusively dedicated to the processing of double layer films. The control system offers several operating modes, schemes and setting configurations (e.g. length of the tube, sealing temperature and time) for all types of production.

The machine is delivered with a complete set of Qualification documentation DQ/IQ/OQ/FAT and prepared for an easy SAT and validation on site.

The new model is available with an output of up to 4’000 bags/hour.
