Bausch Advanced Technologies, a leader in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical machines is looking for a full time, master Manual Lathe Machinist.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Print to part, no questions asked
  • Expected to work safe, but at the same time produce high quality work in a timely manner
  • Print reading skills must be excellent
  • Able to interpret and achieve geometric soundness on machined part
  • Capable of sharpening drills and hand grinding tool bits on pedestal grinder
  • Ability to work to and hold close tolerances, +/- .012mm in most cases
  • Familiar with threading, using machine threading gears
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take direction
  • Knowledge of metric system or willingness to learn
  • Utmost respect toward management and co-workers

Position Summary:

The electrical engineer develops and designs analog or digital electronic devices, controls,

circuits, or systems. Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed electrical systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical design of packaging equipment for pharmaceutical industry
  • Create electrical schematics and programs
  • Adapt existing designs to customer specifications
  • Create bills of materials for electrical components
  • Create electrical files for machine documentation
  • Contact suppliers and inquire regarding specific components and solutions
  • Report to project progress to management
  • Train new or less experienced employees

Support of:

  • Assembly Department and Electricians regarding documentation of revised designs
  • Technical Documentation Department
  • Sales and Service Department
  • Global cooperation partners with technical data and documentation

Authority:

Reports to Electronics and Controls Manager. May direct electronic technicians and trainees.

Education and Qualifications:

At least ASEE.
