Position Summary:

The design engineer designs new models, mechanisms, and adaptations for broad line of products, following directions and suggestions of manager. Investigates alterations to designs for improved performance and prepares preliminary layout drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical design of packaging equipment for pharmaceutical industry
  • Creation of 2D and 3D CAD-models and drawings
  • Optimize existing designs to customer specifications
  • Prepare P&ID drawings
  • Create bills of materials and layout drawings
  • Create technical files for machine documentation
  • Contact suppliers regarding specific components and solutions
  • Generate reports to management regarding the project progress
  • Support of:
    – Assembly department during initial build, de-bug, and FAT stages of a project
    – Technical documentation department
    – Sales and service department
    – Global cooperation partners with technical data and documentation

Authority:

Reports to engineering manager. May direct less experienced designers and trainees.

Position Summary:

The validation technician prepares validation and verification documents. The validation technician is responsible for executing validation and verification documents. The validation technician works closely with the rest of the project team to achieve project goals.
The validation technician uses Microsoft and Adobe software applications on a daily basis. The validation technician must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare IQ/OQ and FAT protocols for customer projects
  • Execute IQ/OQ and FAT protocols for internal testing
  • Participate in customer FAT as required
  • Participate in customer SAT and IQ/OQ testing onsite as required
  • Prepare other documents to support projects as required

Reports to Documentation Manager

Education and Qualifications:

Minimum requirement: ASME, ASEE or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • Producing machined parts by programming, setting up and running 2 dimensional parts from start to finish on a vertical machining center.
  • Must be able to use manual milling machines and lathes as well.
  • Able to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
  • Basic math, geometry, trigonometry and knowledge of metric system required
  • Must be familiar with Solid Works and Master-cam
  • Familiarity with Fadal vertical machining centers a plus
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to take direction and learn a must.
  • Willingness to work between the machine shop and mechanical assembly a must
  • Must be willing to travel, moderately.
