Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Must be able to turn raw material with supplied print into a finished part without supervision and in a timely manner that is consistent with established timelines. This includes writing the cnc programs required, setting up and running the part.
  • Must be familiar with and comfortable working with the metric system of measurement.
  • Must be fluent in G and M codes as they pertain to vertical cnc machining centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical & administrative support to the IT Systems Administrator
  • Acts as the point of contact on behalf of the IT Systems Administrator
  • Attend / Host meetings in event of scheduling conflicts or overflow
  • Provision workstations for new hires, including new accounts, replacement hardware, phone setups, and full application configs
  • Maintains a proactive approach to keeping proper working order of all user workstations, including regular security updates, application troubleshooting, software, and hardware upgrades
  • Monitor Help Desk portal for independent assistance of end users. Delegate tasks to Interns where appropriate
  • Maintain Barracuda VOIP system, including extension administration & phone provisioning

Position Summary:

This position coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory and the stockroom.

Responsibilities:

Verifying and identifying product information

Prepare shipping forms, bill of lading, and all other import and export related documents

Verify count, weight and measurement of materials

Completing computer entry for receipt of shipments

Responsible for all material coming in and/or going out of the stock room

Physical Inventory count

Knowledge of international shipping a plus

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience of shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment

Position Summary:

Bausch Advanced Technology Group (BATG) designs and manufactures pharmaceutical packaging machinery. BATG includes companies located in Germany, USA, and Brazil, and benefits from a large distribution network covering many countries worldwide. The group combines an extensive experience of over 40 years in engineering and manufacturing aseptic machinery. BATG offers a wide range of products, from tabletop units for small batches, to high speed fully automatic production lines for syringes, cartridges, vials, bottles, ampoules, I.V. bags and various other containers.

Due to success in the U.S. market, the Clinton, CT facility is increasing the overall capacity of our factory and are seeking a Technical Writer.

The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Create machine parts catalogs
  • Complete spare and wear parts lists
  • Research and gather technical information for purchased components
  • Collect material conformity and equipment calibration certificates
  • Photograph machines and assemblies
  • Assist in internal FATs as required
  • Create I/O lists and component lists from electrical schematics
  • Archive documentation
  • Compile hard copies of finalized documentation
  • Provide general department support including ordering supplies, keeping inventory, scanning, and printing documents

A strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Experience with FrameMaker is a plus. This position may require working hands on with the machines we build on our site. A mechanical or electrical engineering background is preferred. Interested individuals must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Experience should range from one to three years, but entry-level will be considered.

The Validation Engineer begins documentation of each machine using basic templates written to GAMP 5 standards and must customize each documentation package to customer specifications. The Validation Engineer works daily with the mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers who designed the machine. Required deliverable documentation includes, but is not limited to:

Functional specification
Design specification
Parts catalog
Spare and wear parts list
Operating manual

The Validation Engineer also works with the project manager and customer to create validation and test documents. At the end of each project, the Validation Engineer is expected to participate with the customer during the Factory Acceptance Test. Testing includes machine inspection, electrical schematic check, alarm verification, functional tests, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare validation documents, operating manuals, and additional documents for customer projects.
  • Prepare internal documents and specifications.
  • Perform FAT and SAT testing.
  • Participate in SAT and IQ/OQ testing at customer site.
  • Work with engineers and assembly to complete tasks.
